Miami University – Wayfinding Master Plan

Swath worked collaboratively with the Miami University wayfinding committee to develop a campus wayfinding master plan. We focused on creating welcoming gateways and connecting visitors to garages, interior campus streets, and major student and visitor destinations by identifying academic buildings, admissions offices, student support facilities, and student housing.

The scope included a detailed audit of existing conditions, staff surveys, documentation of findings and recommendations. From there, Swath developed a wayfinding program and design concepts, design development documentation, preliminary message schedules, and location plans.
