Swath Design partnered with MSP to update the wayfinding system on the Cincinnati State campus, providing strategic design solutions for both exterior vehicular directional and entrance identification signage. The project began with an audit to assess messaging, sign locations, and the condition of the existing signage system. This led to the development of a new wayfinding system that aligned with updated campus destinations and the institution’s new branding. In addition to reviewing brand guidelines and signage standards, Swath Design also focused on improving accessibility, visibility, and the overall user experience. The scope included terminology review, production artwork, fabrication coordination, and the creation of design intent bid documents. Through these efforts, Swath Design not only enhanced navigation for students and visitors but also reinforced Cincinnati State’s brand identity.
