As part of its rebranding initiative, Kettering Health entrusted Swath Design with the modernization and improvement of Kettering College’s signage at the Main Campus. All of the existing interior signs had the old logo on the sign, necessitating a universal redesign of both exterior and interior sign systems. The complete update allowed Swath Design to renumber all the rooms in the College for more effective wayfinding. Our approach began with meticulous documentation of every sign across the campus, captured in a comprehensive database. This database served as an essential communication tool, enabling us to collaborate effectively with the College to define the sign parameters and terminology for the new system specific to the College. We leveraged this database to create a detailed message schedule for the fabricator, ensuring a smooth and efficient production and installation process.
