Swath worked with the University of Cincinnati on temporary wayfinding throughout the roughly two year, $86 million upgrade and expansion of Nippert Stadium. Swath’s role involved programming, design, locating, maintaining, and coordination of fabrication and installation of the system. The function of the system was to aid campus visitors, students, and the community in navigating open areas in and around the stadium while maintaining access to campus buildings, green space, and parking venues.
As part of the programming, Swath designed maps for public distribution and maps for communicating construction logistics to university departments, campus police and fire, general contractors and subcontractors.
Swath has developed an exceptional expertise in designing temporary, flexible wayfinding systems for large, multi-phased construction projects where access by the public to the campus facilities must be maintained for the duration of the construction process.
